Getting Started

The fastest way to produce your first narrated slide video with Oral Slides.

Workflow overview for Oral Slides

This guide is for teams who already have a usable presentation deck and want to ship a narrated video quickly.

Your first target

Do not start with the hardest deck in the company. Start with a deck that is already stable and already useful:

  • a sales demo
  • an onboarding walkthrough
  • a lesson deck
  • a weekly project update

The goal of your first run is not perfection. The goal is to validate the workflow end to end.

What success looks like

By the end of the first run, you should have:

  • one uploaded .pptx
  • one reviewed slide-by-slide script
  • one approved voice choice
  • one exported MP4 ready to share

Recommended reading order

  1. PPT to video workflow
  2. Script editing guide
  3. Voice and style guide
  4. Team use cases

Before you upload

Check the deck against this quick list:

  • Is the slide order final?
  • Does each slide have one clear message?
  • Are charts labeled clearly?
  • Is the ending slide still relevant?

If the answer is mostly yes, the deck is ready.

After your first export

Once the first video is done, do not jump straight into heavy optimization. Share it with one real audience first. Then review:

  • where listeners dropped off
  • which slides felt too dense
  • whether the voice matched the context
  • whether the CTA was clear

That feedback loop matters more than polishing every sentence before the first export.
